8/6/17
On the bump, the right-handed pitching prospect brings an athletic, projectable build. The prospect prefers to work out of the stretch rather than a full wind-up. Begins his delivery with a high rhythmic leg kick. Closes off front shoulder to the batter as he begins his down hill drive delivery. Has solid arm action with good whip. Stays low through his drive and into the his finish. Offers a unique delivery with good arm action at a low ¾ slot. Fastball is located well and stays true through the zone. Comfortable throwing his fastball on both sides of the plate. Prefers to work away from hitters more than in. Showed a solid breaking ball that spun at a 10/4 path. Drops his delivery angle slightly when going to the offspeed. Did a solid drop of mixing up pitches and was comfortable going to either pitch in any count. At the plate the righty uses a leg kick to get things going. Barrel maintains momentum through out load. An aggressive hitter that swings with intent. Path is level with above average bat speed. SHould grow into more pop as he fills out his projectable frame. Gap to gap guy presently. Far from his ceiling at the plate. In the outfield he moves with quick footwork, showing fluidity to his actions. Plays through the baseball one-handed, maintaining momentum into his throws. Arm is an average tools. Presently looks to fit best in left field.

6/20/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Goes with a leg kick to get his lower half started. Barrel maintains momentum through loading sequence into launch. Bat has whip through the zone while working on a level path. Creates early bat speed and uses the entire feild. Would be aided by adding rhythm to aid with timing. Uses quick, athletic footwork approaching the ball in the outfield. Fields on his glove foot side and plays through the ball cleanly. Arm action is loose and throws were consistently on target. On the mound the right-hander works exclusively from the stretch. Uses a high leg lift, staying tall at balance point. Creates adequate energy with his lower half to home plate. Arm action is longer with above average arm speed. Fastball gets out of his hand well, sitting 75-78 mph. His go to secondary offering is his 65-68 mph breaking ball. The pitch has tight action to it, working on an 11/5 plane. Not a big breaker but has enough action to miss barrels.

5/31/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, slightly open setup. Uses a leg kick to initiate his lower half. Bat gets vertical prior to launch. Takes a level path to the ball and gets on plane early. Showed above average bat speed and impressive pop to his opposite field gap. In the outfield he plays fast and with confidence. Gets to the ball quickly and plays through it nicely. Arm strength will be area for improvement. Two-way prospect. Works quick on the mound. Drop and drive type guy that gets adequate energy from his lower half. Arm action is shorter with average arm speed. Fastball showed cut at times coming at 75-78 mph. Spins a tight, 10/4 shaped breaking ball at 65-67 mph. Displayed solid feel for the offering, using it as a freeze or chase pitch.

1/16/17
Plays fast and confident in the outfield. Fields through the ball cleanly and gets adequate momentum into his throws. At the plate he utilizes a leg kick to start his loading sequence. Bat gets vertical as he moves his hands back, giving him early bat speed. Tends to weight shift prior to swing decision causing him to get on his front foot early. When weight shift is well timed the ball came off his bat very well. On the mound he showed off a three-pitch mix working through a high-¾ slot. Fastball was anywhere from 73-75 mph. Needs to be more consistently in the zone with the pitch. When he started his slider over the plate and ran it off it showed tight, late action across the plate. Also was able to maintain arm speed on his 67-69 mph changeup.

7/6/16
6-foot-1, 160-pound thinner, athletic body frame. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance, using an inward turn with his front foot for timing. Would like to see him stride more consistently back to being squared up to even. Hands load back past his shoulder, swinging with a flat bat path through the zone, and finishes with a one-handed follow through. Recorded a top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 7.43 60-yard dash.  From the outfield, he shows good footwork. Short back arm action, into a high ¾ slot with 76 mph arm strength. On the mound, he shows good tempo in his delivery that requires some effort. Good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Throws with a short back arm action into a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 75-77 mph. Curveball sat 66-69 mph with sharp break.
