5’9, 185-pound prospect. A switch hitter at the plate. From the right side he gets things going with a short stride. Hands move back to load, creating balance and separation. Path is slightly downhill with above average bat speed. Showed solid strength through contact. Produced consistent line drives, flashing gap potential. From the left side he has a similar loading sequence. Swing is more compact and simple from the left. Natural tools aren’t as explosive, but has enough feel to be effective. Should be able to do both, with more upside from the right. A middle infielder that uses aggressive footwork approaching the baseball. Does a nice job of cutting down distance with his feet in his funnel. Glove skills are adequate and stay on the move. With his offensive capabilities and lateral mobility, he profiles best at second base. On the mound, the right-handed pitching prospect offers a strong frame. Works through a smooth wind-up with a unique leg kick delivery. Creates solid energy through a strong back hip, low downhill drive. Has smooth arm action with an over-the-top delivery. Energy creates a slight fall off to the first base side through his delivery. Fastball stays true through the zone and prefers to work both corners of the plate. With an over-the-top delivery, the pitching prospects brings a solid 12/6 breaking ball. Breaking ball has solid late break, and compliments his fastball well. Was able to work in both of his pitches well, keeping hitter off balanced throughout the at-bat.
