At third base he reacts well off the bat, moving light on his feet. Ball skills are above average for spot. Not a flashy defender but gets the job done. Path is flat with obvious strength through contact. Bat speed is an above average tools as well. Has the look of a middle of the lineup guy who can also hit for average. A mechanically sound outfielder with obvious feel for the position. Reacts well off the bag and he does a nice job of getting his hop and attacking it. Arm is clean and works through a high-¾ slot. Arm is above average and accurate. At third base he showed fluidity to his actions. Does a nice job staying low as he plays through the baseball. Ball skills are above average for his class.
