Hit:Fast twitch athlete that can get things going in a hurry once he pulls the trigger. Well above average rotational acceleration according to blast at 30gs. Turn and burn BP with well above average jump. Batspeed was also noticeable through the zone at 74 mph.
Power:Easy gap pop.

Field:Corner skill set in the outfield. Has some urgency to his approach and can maintain rhythm into throws. Also worked out in the infield, showing a serviceable skill set. Similar to outfield tools play in the corner.

Scouting Notes:Two-way prospect. Projectable arm. Fastball dives through the zone in the upper 70s. Also offers two playable secondary offerings. Only going to get better as physical maturation takes its course.

Hit: Right handed hitter. Starts in an upright, open stance. Simple loading sequence with fluid movements. Level bat path through the zone, which was able to produce line drives to the gaps.

Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup
Field:Worked out as an OF. Raw, respectable actions in the field with developing footwork.
Throw: 78 mph arm from the OF. Developing arm strength.
Defensive Projection: OF/2B
Body Type: 6-foot, 150-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with minimal movement. Keeps his hands loose and loaded through contact.
Hit: Level bat path that works to the pull side. Swings with intent. Turns on the ball with authority. Has some things to clean up but all the tools are there.
Power: Flashed pop to the pull side with natural ball flight to the middle part of the field. 88.5 mph off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup potential.
Field: In the outfield he plays with cautious footwork, remaining under control throughout sequence. Mechanically sound with respectable ball skills. Also worked out in the infield. Plays with direct feet, cutting down distance off the bat. Ball skills are developing in the infield.
Throw: Near over the top right-hander with average strength for class and more to come.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller stance. Barrel flows through load, finding plane well on a mostly level path at trigger. Lower half is quiet/fluid, creating regular timing. Compact, stroke with slightly more strength than speed presently. Line drive guy now with more to come as he fills out athletic frame. In the infield he plays under control, attacking the ball linearly off the bat. Does a nice job of fielding out in front before funneling to stomach during transfer. Ball skills/ arm strength are developing tools.

6/13/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Uses a simple approach mechanically. His short stride keeps him on time while keeping hands simple. Gets on plane early and swing is compact. A top of the lineup type guy that can consistently find the barrel. Sprayed line drives to both sides of the field in batting practice. In the infield he does a nice job staying low as he plays through the baseball. Footwork is clean and under control. Ball skills are developing. How arm strength comes along with maturity will likely determine which side of the field he ends up at.
