At the plate he creates solid energy with his lower half during his loading sequence. Bat gets vertical before taking a level path to the baseball. Barrel has obvious whip to it and impressive strength through contact. Consistently squared balls up in the gap during batting practice. Behind the plate he starts in a higher crouch and showed quick footwork while getting in line to second base during his transfer. Exchange skills are there and throws were consistently on the bag.

A fluid swinger from the right sides that consistently produced line drives in batting practice. Consistently was able to put backspin on the baseball to both sides of the field. Natural tools are impressive. Defensively, he starts slightly open behind the dish. Hands are quick in his transfer. Gets back to his ear and uses short arm action. Pop times ranged between 2.04-2.07. In the infield,

6-foot-1, 195-pound strong build. Behind the plate he showed quickness to both his feet and transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.09-2.19, and he threw with 67 mph arm strength to second base. An above average defensive first baseman that gets off the bag well. Got rid of the ball quickly, and threw accurately to second base on his double play balls. At the plate the righty starts slightly open before using a short stride to get back to even. Is able to stay fluid throughout his loading sequence. Bat gets through the zone with definite strength and batspeed on a downhill path. Registered an exit velocity of 85 mph and ran a 5.13 down the line.

6-foot-1, 195-pound strong, athletic frame. At the plate he does a good job of gathering his weight and transferring it into contact through a rhythmic, knee pinch load. Hands stay relatively quietly during the loading process than launch through the zone on a downhill path. Exit velocity was 86 mph and he ran a 4.75 from home to first. Behind the plate he had quickness to both his footwork and his transfer. Would like to see him gain more ground to second base as he is squaring himself. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.13 and he threw with 70 mph arm strength to second base.
