A lack of weight transfer causes him to take an uphill path to the ball and inconsistent contact point. Would like to see him weight shift into contact to flatten out the swing and open up all fields. Bat has strength and above average batspeed through the zone. Registered an exit velocity of 90 mph and ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Great frame for the position. He has the skill set and characteristics to stay behind the plate. His transfer has room for improvement. However, he has great touch on the ball and accurate arm. Will generate better pop times when hands work faster and get in better position to throw. Top velocity of 80 mph with pop times ranging between 1.86 to 1.92. Athleticism also shows well in the outfield. Reached a top velocity of 86 mph on his throws.

Throws from a short, high-3/4 slot with 73 mph arm strength across the diamond. Behind the plate he starts with a wide base. Tends to stand up and opens up on his transfer. Throws from short, high-3/4 with pop times ranging from 2.17-2.23 and 72 mph arm strength to second base.

In the infield he shows a quick exchange and 75 mph arm strength across the diamond from a high-¾ slot. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. He does a good job keeping his hands inside the baseball with 73 mph bat speed and ran a 7.33 60-yard dash.
