A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Uses a toe turn for timing. Upper half creates most of his juice. Path is level to slightly downhill. Very strong kid with pull side pop. Bat speed is above average. Middle of the lineup potential. A solid frame for the first base position. Gets off the bag adequately and glove works. Looked comfortable and confident during his evaluation. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with above average arm speed. Fastball showed slight run, while sitting 77-81 mph. Did a nice job establishing the zone with the pitch to set up his secondary offerings. Spins a tight breaking ball at 68-71 mph. The offering has some depth to it and very sharp at times, while working on an 11/5 plane.

On the mound the right-hander has a fluid tempo to his delivery that requires some effort. Features a three pitch mix while working through a high-¾ slot. His fastball showed substantial cut at times while sitting 75-78 mph. Both of his secondary offerings were above average pitches. His 10/4 shaped breaking ball showed signs of sharpness with depth at 63-65 mph. Changeup had similar cut to his fastball while maintaining fastball arm speed.

6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic build. On the mound he shows some rhythm in his delivery with some effort behind it. Has a tendency to fall off toward the first base side of the mound. Throws with a long back arm action into a high ¾ slot with average arm speed. Fastball sat 70-74 mph. Curveball sat 55-58 mph with gradual 11/5 break. Changeup sat 65-66 mph.

Crooks has a 6-foot, 185-pound frame. He stands upright with a narrow base. He rocks back slightly with his load onto his back leg and keeps his hands close to his body throughout his swing. His exit velocity was 66 mph and he ran the 60-yard dash in 8.85. On the infield, he shows good fundamentals with his footwork and works through the ball with his feet creating momentum towards first base. His velocity across the diamond was 67 mph. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. His fastball sat 70-73 mph with some arm side run. His changeup had sink and sat 67-68 mph. His curveball had 11/5 break and sat 60-61 mph.

5-foot-10, 165-pound solid build. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uses a toe tap to load and barrel gets in and out of the hitting zone. Registered top exit velocity of 74 mph exit velocity off the tee and was 5.3 down the line. Over at third base he shows good range and fields the ball into his body. Slow release with 64 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he has a simple delivery with good direction and not much effort. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with fastball sitting 67-71 mph. Spins a breaking ball with 11/5 tilt at 60-61 mph

5-foot-10, 165-pounds average build. From third base he sits back on his heels and fields the ball into his body. From a high-¾ slot he shows 62 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that stands tall and feet squared. Shows an easy swing with good rotation on his lower half. Registered 72 mph exit velocity off a tee and ran 9.08-60. On the mound the righty has a slow tempo delivery that lands open at foot strike. Throws from a long, high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 65-68 mph. Has a big 11/5 gradual break on his curveball at 57 mph and shows a changeup at 60 mph that he occasionally gets underneath with.
