5-foot-6, 120-pound prospect. A right-handed swinger that starts in an open setup. Uses a short stride to get back to even. Hands stay loose and simple during forward movement. Worked well to the opposite field gap. A top of the lineup type guy who consistently finds the barrel. In the infield, he uses quick footwork and gets to the ball in a timely fashion. Has adequate glove skills and lateral mobility. Looked comfortable going to his glove hand side. In the infield, he projects as a second base type. When fielding the ball straight on, he has the tendency to field the ball flat footed in wide stance, which stops his momentum. Will help himself by creating angles and keeping his feet moving. Throws from ¾ arm slot with long arm action. Behind the dish, the catcher starts in a wide stance. Shows some length in his footwork. Doesn’t always square back up, which creates some directional issues. Throws from high ¾ to over the top slot with pop times ranging between 2.31 to 2.42.
