A left-handed hitter that start in a taller setup. Uses a short stride for timing and a bat tip load to initiate upper half. Bat moves on an uphill plane to the baseball with above average bat speed for his class. Consistently found the barrel with more pop to his pull side. A gap to gap guy with much more pop to come with maturity. In the outfield, he displays proper footwork while fielding the ball on his glove side foot. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with solid arm speed. Does a good job of staying downhill. On the mound the right-hander starts with a slower paced tempo that speeds up during his stride. Uses an easy leg lift before his drop and drive load. Arm is long and loose, moving through a high-3/4 slot. Fastball was consistently in the zone. The pitch showed arm side run at times. Tends to slow his arm a bit on his changeup. Showed the ability to consistently locate the pitch in the zone. Spins a big breaking curveball. The offering has gradual break while working in between an 11/5 and 12/6 plane. Did a nice job pounding the zone with all of his offerings. Changeup looks to be the setup and breaking ball the put away.
