6-foot, 185 pound outfielder with a sturdy build hits from the right side with a wide stance producing a level bat path. Hands got disconnected for a few swings causing him to wrap around the ball. Overall though Yashnik made good contact throughout his round squaring several up. He recorded a 78 mph exit velocity which will increase as he gets more activation from his hips. In the outfield he showed a good glove fielding each attempt cleanly. Needs to work on stay down and through the ball as he comes up early. Will lead to greater momentum, stronger throws and increase his 67 mph throwing position velocity.

5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect. Uses a short, controlled stride to get things started at the plate. Hands move to launch prior to taking an uphill path to the baseball. Showed solid strength through contact. Has the natural tools to a middle of the order guy. Would like to see a more efficient lower half. In the outfield he use quick, aggressive footwork getting the the baseball. Plays two handed to ensure ball security. Would like to see him play one handed more often to maintain momentum into his throws that were mostly on target.
