On the mound the righty has a quick, loose arm with feel for three pitches. His fastball is consistently 83-87 mph with slight run. His fastball is even more effective and jumps on hitters even quicker because of his steady dose of knuckleballs. He has advanced feel for the pitch and looks to be a legitimate weapon and not just a novelty. He throws it hard at 73-74 mph with late, unpredictable action. Also flashed a sharp 11/5 curveball. Was equally impressive at the plate. The righty creates a ton of energy into contact through an aggressive stride. Bat gets through the zone with electric batspeed on a level path. Ball jumped off his bat in batting practice and he showed power potential. Registered impressive exit velocity of 98 mph and ran a 4.55 from home to first. A versatile defender that showed the ability to play infield and outfield. At this stage he projects more in the outfield. He took efficient routes and played through the baseball nicely before showing off his 88 mph arm strength to home plate. In the infield he has above average glove skills with solid lateral mobility. Will need to work on pre fielding footwork.
