6-foot-1, 162-pound prospect. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that he was able to repeat. Uses an easy leg lift prior to loading his lower half, creating efficient momentum towards home plate. Arm action is short and quick. His fastball showed slight cut at times while sitting 73-75 mph, topping at 79 mph when ramped it up at the end. Has decent feel for his 11/5 shaped breaking ball that came in at 59-62 mph. The pitch had some sharpness to is when he got on top of it. Starts in a wide, open setup at the plate. Uses a simple approach mechanically. Swing is compact on an uphill path. Would like to see him get more out of his loading sequence to let his natural strength show in his swing. Ball came off his bat well to his pull side. In the outfield he uses aggressive footwork approaching the baseball. Fields the ball on his glove foot side before using a shuffle step to get momentum into his throws. Needs to improve accuracy on his throws moving forward.
