2/20/17
A southpaw on the mound the is able to repeat his low effort delivery. Arm action is clean with quickness to his arm. Works through a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 73-76 mph. With his efficient delivery look for velocity to increase with maturity. Both of his secondary offering are above average pitches. His best is his 12/6 breaking ball. The pitch has sharp action and depth at 61-63 mph. Is able to maintain fastball arm speed on his changeup that has some fade to it at 70-71 mph. At the plate the lefty starts in a tall setup prior to his knee pinch load and short stride. Hands move back to launch during his forward movement. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Bat gets through the zone with above average bat speed and solid strength through contact. Showed impressive pop to his opposite field gap. In the outfield he showed feel for the position. Uses fluid footwork and plays through the ball efficiently. Does a nice job of getting rid of the ball quickly without compromising momentum.

1/29/17
6-foot, 180-pound southpaw with solid, athletic frame. Starts square on the rubber and uses a small rocker step to the outside of his body. Lifts his hands over his head and uses easy leg kick as he initiates his lower half. Quick tempo and confident body language. Fastball shows some natural cut at 74-77 mph. Throws through a high ¾ slot. Breaking ball shows effective, two-plane action at 61-64 mph. Changeup has similar movement to his fastball at 64-67 mph. A lefty swinger that starts in a tall setup. Takes his hands back to launch during his short stride. Noticeable strength through contact. Would like to see him add rhythm to let his natural tools show in swing more consistently. Path is level and he showed impressive pop to his pull side. Has the physical tools to be a middle of the order guy. Likely a corner outfield type. Plays with good anticipation. Footwork is athletic and fluid. Momentum carries him through the baseball. Transfer is clean. Needs to continue improving arm strength for the next level.

2/20/16
6-foot, 180-pound athletic build. A left-handed hitter that starts in a tall, athletic setup. Has minimal load before his short stride forward. Hands stay relatively simple before firing the bat through the zone on a level path. Reached a top exit velocity of 78 mph off the tee and ran a 4.19 from home to first. In the outfield he played under control and was able to field through the ball nicely. From a high-3/4 slot he threw to home plate with 75 mph arm strength. On the mound he used fluid tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Using short, clean arm action his fastball sat 72-75 mph with some run and was complimented by a 58-60 mph, big breaking curveball with a 1/7 shape. Mixed in a 62-64 mph changeup that had similar action to his fastball.

2/15/16

6-foot, 180-pound athletic build. On the mound he shows a repeatable delivery. Shows good direction to the plate landing on line at foot strike. Throws from a high ¾ slot with the fastball sitting 73-75 mph. Curveball sits 62-67 mph with sharp 1/7 break. Changeup sits 66-67 mph. A left handed hitter that has little load before his forward stride. Has some quickness to his bat and registered an exit velocity of 76 mph. Would benefit from transferring weight onto his front side at contact. In the outfield he does a good job of playing under control before attacking the hop he wants. Showed the ability to play through the ball and carry momentum into his throws with 75 mph arm strength to home plate. Ran a 4.25 from home to first.

1/24/16
5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic build. At the plate he does a good job of creating forward energy through an aggressive stride. Keeps his hands simple and has a tendency to collapse his backside which causes him to take an uphill path to the ball. Exit velocity was 76 mph and he ran a 4.53 from home to first base. From the outfield, he shows good footwork approaching the ball. He fields outside of his body on the run through. Transitions into a high ¾ slot with 75 mph arm strength. On the mound he uses a slower tempo to his delivery and is able to repeat it. Uses short, clean arm action from a high-¾ slot. Fastball had arm side run while sitting 70-73 mph. Curveball had a 1/7 shape to it with gradual break at 58-60 mph. Mixed in a changeup near fastball arm speed at 62-63 mph.
