6/7/16 6-foot-2, 170-pound projectable frame. Has an open setup at the plate from the right side. Gets efficient use out of his loading movements, going with a leg kick/bat tip combination. Creates good separation between his upper and lower half during his stride. Takes a slightly downhill path to the ball showing above average batspeed through the zone. Registered an exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. Has advanced footwork and glove skills in the infield. All the actions are there. Doesn’t have a strong arm but makes up for it with his footwork and ability to get rid of the ball quickly. Could end up at either middle position at the next level.
1/31/16 Has some projectability to his build at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. At the plate the righty creates good forward energy through a leg kick load/timing mechanism. Is able to stay balanced by keep his hands in a strong position as he moved forward. Was able to consistently square balls up in batting practice and reached an exit velocity of 87 mph. In the infield he has quick, athletic actions. From his glove to his footwork everything moves quickly and efficiently. Would like to see him field the ball more out in front on a more consistent basis. Threw with 74 mph arm strength across the diamond and ran an impressive 4.03 from home to first.
6/16/14 Long, lanky 6-foot-2, 160-pound projectable body frame. From the infield he fields the ball out front nicely, can be a little more aggressive playing through the ball more consistently, but shows good athletic actions. Uses a quick short arm action reaching a top velocity of 68 mph. Right-handed hitter starts with a slightly open stance getting back to being squared up, uses a very slight hands back trigger. Contact type hitter with line drive type production reached a top exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 4.32 from home to first base.
