A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Goes with a leg lift for timing. Creates energy with his lower half through a weight shift. Path is uphill with solid strength through contact. Swing plays best to the opposite field gap at this stage. Drove the ball with authority when he got on plane. Consistently made hard contact in game, recording multiple hits and loud outs. Behind the plate he showed solid catch and throw skills all around. Mechanically sound and gets out of his crouch with fluidity. Throws were consistently on the bag.

Based on the day’s workout, he was my favorite all-around catcher in attendance. 5-foot-11, 185-pound catcher with solid frame. Showed athleticism and flexibility in his lower half. Stance starts a bit open. Needs to square it up for receiving purposes. Nonetheless, he has obvious quickness in his feet as well as his transfer and exchange. Short arm action and really gets rid of the baseball. Pop times sat between 2.06 to 2.13 and on the bag. Top velocity of 74 mph from the crouch. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts from a wide, slightly open stance. Slight uphill path. Upper half load can get long, but ball really jumped off his bat. Top exit velocity of 87 mph.

At the plate he starts in a balanced setup and uses a short stride for timing. Hands stau loose as they move to launch. Bat has some quickness to it as it takes a slightly uphill path to the ball. Showed solid pop to his opposite field gap. Would like to see him flatten out path to produce backspin to his pull side. Creates a preset angle with his footwork to get into his transfer quickly behind the plate. Transfer skills are above average.

5-foot-9, 170-pound prospect. A talented, young player that took an impressive round of batting practice. Creates excellent energy into contact with his lower half with advanced batspeed for his age. Ball jumped off his bat in batting practice with gap to gap pop at this stage and power potential to come. Reached a top exit velocity of 87 mph. Behind the plate he has quickness to both his footwork and his transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.1, and he threw with 71 mph arm strength to second base.

5-foot-8, 165-pound with an average build. At the plate the righty starts slightly open with an athletic setup. Get back to even through a rhythmic toe-turn, hands back load. Takes a slightly uphill path to the ball producing an exit velocity of 75 mph. Starts from a high crouch and has decent footwork and a very quick transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.08-2.19 and through short, clean arm action he threw with 70 mph arm strength to second base. Ran a 4.34 from home to first.

5-foot-8, 165-pound average body frame. From the crouch he uses good footwork to get himself turned and in line on his throws down to second base. He throws with a clean, short arm action coming from a high ¾ slot. He registered pop times between 2.20-2.27.
