6-foot-6, 215-pound prospect with tall, solid frame. Projects defensively as a first baseman. Uses short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Will be aided around the bag by continuing to develop quickness in his feet. Top velocity of 68 mph on his throws. At the plate, he starts in an open stance. Uses a toe tap to initiate his lower half. Uses a short stride. Has ability to incorporate more of his lower half into his swing. Shows rhythm to his hands and load. Solid contact in his round of BP with obvious power potential. On the mound, he uses a big up and down leg kick. Tall and fall type delivery. Fastball is straight at 72-75 mph. Also showed a breaking ball with late 11/5 movement in the mid to upper 60s. His changeup is straight at 59-61 mph.

A big strong kid with a physical build at 6-foot-4, 215-pounds. Starts in a tall setup before using a double tap for timing. Generates most of his batspeed through his upper half as the barrel gets through the zone on a slightly uphill path. Better to his pull side at this stage. Would benefit from a more efficient lower half. Registered an exit velocity of 88 mph with more in the tank. Gets off the bag well at first base but would like to see him play lower. Average hands at this stage. Threw across the infield with 75 mph arm strength. On the mound he has a three pitch mix to his arsenal while working through a high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 72-75 mph while working on a downward plane. Curveball has an 11/5 shape with gradual break while coming in at 65-66 mph. Showed some feel for a changeup that he threw near fastball armspeed.
