6/04/19

Texas Tech commit. A lean and projectable 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame with wiry strength and room to add more. On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple and relaxed delivery with a high leg kick before striding closed and finishing balanced. Arm action has some length in the back with a pause before quickly coming through a ¾ slot with high end arm speed. Fastball shows very heavy and consistent sink and arm-side run, nearly all strikes, located on both sides of the dish. Slider is elite with consistent 10/4 sweeping shape and late depth to both sides at 74-76 mph. Sanders punched out four in his two innings of work.

12/16/18

The Texas Tech commit has a lean and projectable 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and moderate up, down, and out leg kick before striding across his body and finishing to the dish. Arm action is controlled with moderate length in the back before coming through a ¾ slot with advanced arm speed. Fastball shows occasional run and sink to the arm side, velocity was a little down from the 88-89 mph he has shown previously, but still showed advanced command to both sides of the plate. Slider is elite with tight spin, late depth, and 10/4 shape, commanded to both sides of the dish at 74-76 mph. Changeup shows some occasional cut at 74-75 mph, controlled in the zone.
