4.2.17 - Left-handed outfielder at 5-foot-8, Kyle attacks well from the outfield with quick first steps and energy to the ball, arm works with top velocity of 77 mph. At the plate, leg kick to separation, shows some whip through the zone with line drive approach, had an exit velocity of 84 mph with some feel for the barrel.
3.5.2016
5-foot-6, 140-pound player who scraps on the diamond. Clean swing from the right side, 75 mph exit velo, drops the back side on his swing, gets good elevation. Looks very clean in the outfield, solid approach, quick release, 71 mph from the outfield, looks like an athlete. On the mound has very clean mechanics, violent delivery, advanced actions from the left side, good 2/8 shape on his breaking ball, fastball topped out at 68 mph. Even though the size and strength isn’t there yet, Kyle’s mechanics give him a chance to be a decent lefty arm down the road.
2/15/15
5-foot-5, 125-pound left-hander with room to add physical strength gains and growth. Off the mound, Kyle had a good tempo delivery with proper separation and good arm action. Arm angle was a high-¾ arm slot that can allow him to get on top and create downhill angle when he gets out-front and finishes. Fastball was 63-64 mph, was able to throw for strikes when he stayed online and finished. Curveball was 53-55 mph while his changeup sat 60-62 mph that day. Offensively, ran a 4.87 from home to first and a time of 5.18 in the 40-yard dash. At the plate, Kyle starts from a balanced, athletic position with a small pick up of the front foot. Hands get loaded back and have good path to contact. Backside needs to get through and finish to create more power and force through hitting zone. Good foundation at the plate, exit velocity 66 mph. Defensively, moved well in the outfield with clean actions and a quick transfer and release. Footwork was clean and was clocked at 67 mph from a high-¾ arm slot with true rotation.
