A strong, 6-foot-2, 192-pound righty with a well proportioned frame and room to add size and strength. His high-3/4 arm slot creates good arm speed and whip, all while maintaining good balance over the rubber and throughout his delivery. Fastball shows life and was a sneaky 81-84 mph with some late life. Brock has some arm side run when he stays online and finishes and showed good feel for his curveball that worked at 66-67 mph with 12/6 shape. Changeup was consistent at 70 mph which stayed down with arm side fade. He is a strike thrower who competes, prospect to keep an eye on in 2017 class of pitchers.

Strong, 6-foot-2, 192-pound right-hander with strength. Well proportioned frame with room to add size. Arm has some whip from a high-3/4 arm slot, gets gathered well over the mound, separates on time and uses a small drop and drive with his legs. Fastball shows life and was a sneaky 81-84 mph with some life at UC Games. Shows some arm side run when he stays online and finishes. Ryan showed good feel for his curveball that worked at 66-67 mph with 12/6 shape. At times would cast and ball would stay up, but threw some good ones with downward action and spin. Changeup was consistent at 70 mph with limited in game viewing. Turned over some that stayed down with fade. Strike thrower who competes well. Good looking righty from the 2017 class.
1/24/15
Big 6-foot-1, 187-pound outfielder and right-handed pitcher. Was only able to run home to first, which was a 4.61 down the line, and get in outfield evaluation due to a hockey playoff game. From the outfield Brock was 71 mph with his top velocity. Arm worked from a high-¾ arm slot and was able to get out-front and on top with his throws. We will see Brock again off the mound and at the plate sometime soon to fill his reports on both.
