9.9.17 - Carscadden works from a loose, 3/4 slot with room for additional strength gains at 6-foot, 180-pounds. Rocker step delivery, gets back online and arm is clean and out front. Ball has natural run as fastball works in low 80's but room to add velocity. Has feel for secondary stuff and was able to work in the zone with all his stuff. Stays in control of body and a strong winter can see Carscadden come out in 2018 ready to go with more polish to his stuff. 

6-Foot, 180-pound right-hander who worked with an over the head windup, room to get stronger and fill out. Repeated delivery with a small stab and up arm action in the back. Fastball topped out at 79 mph while he was able to work both sides of the plate. Breaking ball was 64-67 mph, threw some good ones that showed spin and can create more downward angle with his finish and arm speed. Changeup was 69-72 mph and has chance to be a strike thrower with all three pitches.

6-foot, 180 pound athlete. Good actions in the outfield. Throws were low and through the cut-off man while registering a 65 MPH arm velocity. Quick toe tap to allow for an on time swing. Long swing keeps the barrel in the zone longer. Registered bat exit velocity of 75 MPH. On the mound, FB sat 72-74 MPH with a 62 MPH CB. Straight changeup was 67-68 MPH with good deception. Over the head delivery created good timing. Attacking mentality and strike thrower.
