A two-way player who at 6-foot-4, 200-pounds, has great size, long-legs, and a strong lower half, with room to add some more strength and mass. Throws from a L-¾ arm slot, with some across-the-body action out of the outfield. Throws have some carry. At the plate, toe-tap load, drives bat through the zone with two hands with a bit of an uppercut motion. A few adjustments at the plate will need to be made. On the mound, Allen has a slow but compact delivery, can locate all of his pitches for strikes while keeping his arm slot consistent. Long stride, finishes delivery with lead foot facing mound allowing for optimal hip rotation. Fastball sits at 75-76 and is thrown for strikes with some sinking action. Shows good feel for CB, which has 11/5 shape with late break; knuckle ball has some late dancing action as well. A two-way player who projects to be more of a pitcher, there is definitely more velocity in Allen’s arm, and he will be an interesting prospect to keep an eye on moving forward.

Big 6-foot-4, 187-pound right-hander who can add strength to projectable frame. Works with two pitches, fastball and knuckleball. Fastball was 70-72 mph, while knuckleball was in the 60's with some late dancing action, but a pitch he will need to learn to control.
