5.11.2017
Davis had one of the better days at the 2017 ProCase as he showed his tool set in showcase and game action. Davis ran a 6.60 sixty on a tough track and was moving with clean form and easy effort. Davis showed average arm in the outfield with accuracy and clean actions in the back. At the plate, very handsy hitter who hits the ball to all fields and can surprise some with power to his pull side. During game action, Davis did a little bit of everything with an infield hit, an RBI double down left field and then barrelled up a 92 mph fastball to straight away centre that was caught. Davis looked to be in fine form, healthy, and had a solid day with the draft right around the corner for the vanderbilt commit.

2.20.17

Davis looks to have had a strong winter in the weight room as the Vanderbilt commit is well proportioned and muscular at 5-foot-10, 182-pounds. Ran a shortened 60 indoors on track and flew out the gate with regular effort and looked to gain speed and get faster near the end, needless to say Davis looked to be in the 6.40, 6.50 range with his movements and strength. At the plate, was handsy during his BP rounds, the bat path stayed in the zone, and Davis was what he has become to be known for. Did show some strength with hard contact, will be an intriguing follow this spring for MLB scouts.

Athletic outfielder with game changing speed. 60 time has been clocked at 6.45, exciting player who knows how to use his tools in game. At the plate, line drive hitter who sprays the ball, keeps it simple, stays short to contact, hands work with some looseness to them, strong and quick, bunts for base hits. Base threat every time on. Arm continues to improve, showed carry on ball and some life out the hand. Can go get it in the gaps, athleticism takes over. Exciting player with bright future.

8/1/19: Plus runner and contact hitter with a line drive swing. He separates well, but produces little pop as his bat becomes stagnant during his load. Batted .240 in 50 at-bats with no extra base hits. (Seifert)
