At the plate, hits from wide stance with small stride to load, arm bar involved in swing, contact guy who puts the ball in play and let's speed take over. Exit velocity was 80 mph. Defensively, speed helps Johnson get to balls in the gaps and alleys, top velocity from the outfield is 64 mph.

2019 grad who can run as he ran a 7.01 in his 60-yard sprint. Moved easily and is going to get faster. At the plate, starts in athletic position, balanced with small stride and load to contact. Will drop bat head and hands, causing to get long at times. Shows signs of strength and quickness, exit velocity was 80 mph and flashed some hand speed during batting practice, worked more to pull side. Good frame on Johnson with strength as he has some tools to work with and develop here over time.
