Young 2018 grad at 6-foot, 200-pounds with room to add strength gains. Moves well around the bag and arm works, can turn the double play. Velocity across the infield was 71 mph. Bat is his big play. At times can get long and try to lift too much. When he gets short and on top of ball it comes off the bat with some authority. Small toe turn to load while his hands are quiet and in good position to hit. Momentum in legs to get through the ball should help. Some physicality there and with added strength and maturity Deen has chance to hit for some power. Exit velocity was 83 mph.

Young 2018 at 6-foot, 200-pounds with room for added development from a physical standpoint. Ran a 4.97 down the line from the right side. 40-yard dash was clocked at 5.56 with regular effort. Offensively, starts upright with slight knee bend and hands back in good position to hit. Small toe turn with no stride and rock back to loading position. Showed more power and confidence to pull side. Squared up a few balls with good contact and the barrel out front. At times swing would get long as he would try and lift. Showed good bat speed for a 2018 with an exit velocity of 83 mph. Defensively, was adequate around the bag at first. Fielded balls cleanly and made online throws around the bag across the diamond. Velocity across the infield was 71 mph, arm works while he can incorporate the use with his lower half to increase velocity.
