2/19/18

Noah Hull is one of the more intriguing names of his 2019 class and possesses a strong, projectable frame with impressive tools from the left side of the plate. Had one of the better rounds of BP at the New Year Open. Has a compact, easy swing and gets full extension. Good rhythm in the box, uses a quiet leg kick to load on his back side. Hands work quickly through the zone and generate good lift on the ball, some power will come as he continues to get stronger. In the outfield, projects more of a corner guy. Quick in his transfers, arm works cleanly from a ¾ slot. The uncommitted 2019 classman is a fun player to watch at the plate who will continue to get better as he gets stronger.

8/04/17

Hull is a left-handed bat that profiles at third base while also seeing time in the corner outfield positions. Projectable frame that will add strength at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, Hull has good feel in the box, and put good swings and at-bats together during his 3 game span at the Future Games where he played shortstop the entire week. The swing gets on plane, and he stays quiet in the box while generating to contact with lower half. Line drive more than fly ball/power type guy at the moment. Hull should see some power increase as he adds strength and the bat will be the most intriguing tool moving forward.

7/05/17

Hull meets the eye test as a 6-foot-2, 195-pound, left-handed hitting infielder who plays the left side of the infield. Currently a shortstop, size may take him to third over time as he matures and adds more strength to frame. Offensively, smooth swing at the plate, can use whole field and shows more power to pull side right now. Works through the ball defensively while the arm works and should continue to gain strength. Young looking prospect with tools and a chance to hit for a long time.
