Now 6-foot-7, 170-pounds. Obvious the size gives him extra reach and life on fastball that is up to 86 and works at 83-84. Creates downhill angle and misses a lot of barrels. Curveball works in 70-73 range with 11/5 shape, changeup is there but didn't use that much. Delivery has athleticism for size, works across body and adds deception to delivery. Love the size and pitchability, lots of upside for Jones as a 2018 prospect.

Long and lean at 6-foot-5, 165-pounds. Jones works from ¾ arm slot with good tempo to delivery and ability to pitch down in zone at 80-81 mph. Looseness to the arm, Jones has pitchability to his game, using fastball to both sides of plate while mixing in curveball with 11/5 shape and proper rotation. More to come as he physically matures and develops strength.
