2016 PBR Future Games - Team Pennsylvania

8/4/16 6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect has a long, lean frame with plenty of room to fill out. Impressed all weekend with the bat. Shows solid barrel whip (90 mph exit velocity) that with a leg-lift stride. Ran a 6.83 60-yard dash and glides around the infield with little wasted motion. Trusts his glove hand and showcased solid range with the ability to make plays on the move. Committed to UNC Wilmington shortly following the completion of the event.

5/24/16 Solid athlete with plenty of fast-twitch actions. Showed above-average foot speed on going 1st-to-3rd on a single and triple in right-center field gap (4.38 on turn). 6-foot-1, 165-pound right-handed hitter has frame that should develop with present power. Open stance with pronounced leg-lift stride, occasional issues in getting foot down on time. Above average arm strength with potential to play numerous defensive positions at next level. Easy actions in everything he does and long strider on the base paths.

5/11/16 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame with room to add strength. Pitched out of a high three-quarter slot with loose arm and good arm speed out front. Limited use of lower half; gets over the rubber well, but just glides out of his balance point with limited back side drive. Showed some downhill plane early in his outing, but tended to collapse his front leg on landing, which inhibited his ability to get over his front side for extension and finish. FB sat 82-84 early with some comeback on the gloveside, although his lean frame and usage as a primary infielder hurt ability to hold his velo beyond a couple innings. Showed some feel for spinning a CB at 67-69 with slurvy, three-quarter break. More in the tank here as he matures and gets stronger.
2/14/16 Wiry 6-foot, 155-pound right-handed hitter with room to add strength to his frame. Ran a 6.98 60-yard dash (has been 6.84 previously) and posted an 85-mph exit velocity. Starts from a wide open, narrow stance with good pre-swing rhythm and strides to slightly closed. Attacks the baseball with a pull-oriented, slightly uphill path and good bat speed. Showed well defensively with a quick transfer and release from a quick arm that generated accurate throws of 81-mph across the diamond. Also threw 85-mph from the outfield.

11/7/15 6-foot, 155-pound right-handed hitter who ran a 6.84 60-yard dash and logged an 82-mph exit velocity. Starts from an open stance and takes a slow, controlled leg kick to slightly closed. Eye level changes with stride, but he gets his hands to a good launch position and really lets them fly. Defensively, he completed the slow roller play well and utilized a clean, one-shuffle release with slingshot arm action and 77-mph arm strength across the diamond.
