He has very sound mechanics at the plate with a quiet load and an explosive lower half. He creates consistent solid contact and shows the potential for some gap power. Burman turned in a bat exit velocity of 87 mph.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect showcased a rhythmic swing with an explosive lower half and the ability to drive the baseball. Burman displayed a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and the potential to be a quality hitter at the next level. Defensively, he showed pop times of 2.13-2.21 on throws of 74 mph out of the crouch.
