2/23/13 Suder showcased considerable improvements in nearly every facet of the game since we last saw him in August. The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect has put on 10 pounds and gotten stronger. He showcased a 4.22 home-to-first time and a 76 mph arm across the diamond with a quick release. Suder uses a high leg kick to trigger his swing while generating an 80 mph bat exit velocity. He squared most balls during his round of batting practice displaying good extension and the ability to use all fields. During his bullpen session, Suder sat 78-80 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm-side run to his fastball. Suder showcased a 70 mph sweeping curveball that lacked downward movement and a 72 mph changeup that he located well.
