4/17/16 Burchfield worked 3.2 innings in relief sitting 80-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot, 170-pound sophomore did not utilize a change up and only occasionally offered his 11/5 breaking curveball at 65 mph. Burchfield's fastball had late life, especially up in the zone leading to 8 strikeouts. Interesting follow should he continue to develop physically and work to improve his secondary offerings.
