2/15/14 As a right-handed hitter, Giavedoni registered a blistering 3.94 home-to-1B time. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound sophomore is solidly built and moves effortlessly in the outfield. He displayed solid carry on throws of 83 mph to home plate. Giavedoni hits from a square stance and has extremely quick hands. He takes a direct path to the baseball and showed gap power potential with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph.
6/12/13 Giavedoni, the No. 6 ranked player in the PA Class of 2016, is an athletic 5-foot-9, 165-pound outfielder with excellent foot speed. He turned in a 4.18 home-to-first time on an infield ground out and showed the ability to cover substantial ground in the outfield. The right-handed thrower showed a strong, 82 mph arm from the outfield and a solid, line drive approach at the plate. Giavedoni squared the baseball repeatedly during a solid round of batting practice. His short stroke and flat bat path will allow Giavedoni to consistently put the ball in play and will consistently force defenses to contend with his foot speed.
2/23/13 Giavedoni is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect who runs very well. He turned in one of the top home-to-first times of the day at 4.00. Giavedoni showed athletic movements in the outfield and the makings of a powerful outfield arm on throws of 80 mph. Offensively, he has an athletic approach and extremely quick hands. He uses a short, flat bat path to the baseball allowing the barrel to stay in the hitting zone for extended periods of time. He showed the ability to consistently square the baseball to all fields and with his foot speed he will be a high average guy that should put pressure on defenses with his above average foot speed.
1/5/13 Giavedoni solidified his status as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2016 showcasing his foot speed and defensive skills that were not evaluated at the event he attended most recently. He ran the top home-to-1B time of the day at 4.35. Giavedoni showed athletic actions in the outfield and a good arm at 77 mph. He had one of the top rounds of batting practice on the day, driving baseballs to all fields with a short swing path and quick hands.
12/27/12 Giavedoni was the most impressive hitter of the day. He showed quick hands and the ability to drive the baseball with an 82 mph bat exit speed. A cousin of Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco, Giavedoni is a player to watch in the Class of 2016.
