6/12/13 Morrison showcased a square stance and solid lower half in barreling the baseball repeatedly with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph during batting practice. He went 3-for-7 in game play, showing the ability to use all fields. Morrison displayed athletic actions at 3B with a an accurate 81 mph arm across the diamond. He sat 83-84 out of an over the top arm slot during his work on the mound. Morrison also showcased a 72 mph changeup and an 11/5 breaking curveball that sat 68-70 mph.

2/23/13 Morrison is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect that showcased a 79 mph arm and smooth actions at third base. He showed good feet, a clean transfer and a quick release on throws of 79 mph across the diamond. Morrison displayed a solid 4.15 home-to-first time and routinely barreled the baseball during a strong round of batting practice. The junior used good hip rotation and extension to his swing to create an 88 mph bat exit velocity. Morrison showed very sound, repeatable mechanics out of an over the top arm slot during his bullpen session. His fastball sat 80-82 with some arm-side run. Morrison's best pitch was a 71 mph 11/5 breaking curveball that showed sharp, late break. He also commanded a 74 mph changeup but slowed his arm action noticeably to deliver the pitch.
