7/12/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Gets lower half involved through a toe turn load. Barrel maintains momentum through load into launch. Swing is compact and bat works on a downhill plane. A strong kid with above average bat speed. Consistently found the barrel in BP, showing consistent line drive capabilities. Has the natural tools to hit anywhere in the lineup. In the outfield, his footwork is playable. Fields the ball outside the frame of his body on his glove side. Quickly transitions into a clean crow hop to gather downhill momentum. Releases the ball from a natural 3/4 arm slot with developing arm speed. Throws were consistently on line with the plate.
60-yard dash: 6.83
Outfield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 83

4/5/17 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter demonstrated potential game changing speed by nearly  beating out routine ground ball to SS.  The right-handed hitter has a narrow stance with lift-and-replace stride.  He could benefit from a slightly longer stride or wider base and more aggressive use of lower half with greater separation.  Hands work well to ball and was able to demonstrate feel for barrel.
1/14/17 5-foot-11, 170-pounder impressed with his athleticism and plenty of fast twitch actions. Turned in an event best 6.58 60-yard dash and displayed athletic defensive actions with accurate 73 mph arm strength from his outfield position. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open, narrow stance and utilizes a quiet, lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Clears hips well and creates 82 mph bat exit velocity largely with quick hands a concentration on the extension phase of his swing.
