6/25/14 Maldonato is a strong 6-foot-1, 200-pound righty with a repeatable delivery. He sat 84-86 from a high 3/4 arm slot with late life to his fastball. The uncommitted senior showed good arm speed on his 72 mph curveball with 11/5 break and his 77 mph changeup. Maldonato worked quickly and commanded the zone allowing one hit over three innings of work. Currently ranked No. 74 in the PA Class of 2015, Maldonato registered five strikeouts during his time on the mound.
