Liberatore is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound RHP/SS from Greensburg Central Catholic. He was a varsity starter as a sophomore in 2013 with a .398 batting average. On the hill, Liberatore went 6-1 and helped lead GCC to the 2nd round of the WPIAL playoffs.
6/18/14 Liberatore sat 83-85 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some arm side run to his fastball. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound righty continues to flash one of the top changeups in his class at 75 mph. He throws the pitch with regularity at any count and with sinking action. Liberatore's 70 mph 11/5 breaking curveball continues to improve and provides a solid third option in his arsenal. The two-way prospect ran a 7.08 60-yard dash and showcased an 84 mph arm across the diamond. Liberatore went 2-for-6 in game play over two days.
9/29/13 Liberatore has had an impressive fall showcasing a fastball that sits 79-81 mph with arm side run. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound righty has a loose arm with repeatable mechanics that projects additional velocity is on the horizon. Liberatore has showcased a 70 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 71 mph changeup that is a plus pitch. He throws the changeup at fastball arm speed and it shows late downward action. Everything about Liberatore's frame, mechanics and command indicate that he will be a high end follow in this class.
9/22/13 Liberatore continued to impress with his big upside on the mound. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound righty topped at 80 mph from a high 3/4 arm slot during three effective innings on the mound. He displayed a 68 mph curveball with 11/5 break and a plus changeup at 70 mph. Liberatore gave up one run on two hits and struck out three at Lehigh University.
9/15/13 Liberatore sat 80-81 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with arm side run to his fastball. The young junior also commanded his 68 mph 11/5 breaking curveball for strikes in three innings of scoreless work. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound righty utilized a plus changeup at 71 mph to keep hitters off balance.  Liberatore has a projectable frame, loose arm action and repeatable mechanics.
9/7/13 Liberatore showcased an 84 mph bat exit velocity and the ability to drive the baseball to both gaps. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed hitter went 3-for-8 with a double in game action at Misericordia University and Mansfield University. He has demonstrated the ability to play through the baseball with throws of 78 mph across the diamond.

8/18/13 Liberatore sat 79-81 out of a high 3/4 arm slot and commanded a 70 mph 11/5 breaking curveball. It is his changeup that sets him apart. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound righty throws the pitch nearly 50% of the time. It sits 68-70 with late tumbling action at fastball arm speed. As he continues to develop physically, the long-limbed prospect should see a spike in his fastball velocity to go along with one of the top changeups in the state.
7/30/13 Liberatore showed well in all facets of the game, but was especially impressive on the mound. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound righty utilized a plus changeup at 70 mph to repeatedly get outs. Liberatore works from a high 3/4 arm slot and sits 80-82 with his fastball. His changeup is thrown at fastball arm speed and has late downward action. With his athletic frame it is easy to envision Liberatore adding significant velocity in the near future.
