6/18/14 Currey is a 5-foot-9, 170-pound 2B that has a solid frame and creates barrel whip from a slightly open stance with a bat exit velocity of 88 mph. The right-handed hitter showed the ability to drive the baseball to the pull side and capable actions defensively. Currey's 6.74 foot speed and limitations in arm strength (75 mph across diamond) may necessitate a move to the outfield at the next level.
