7/22/15 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame. Pitched out of an over-the-top slot and showed improved stuff from when we saw him last month. Fastball clocked in at 79-81 and showed a little bit of late tail. Much improved feel with tighter spin on his 11/5 curveball at 68-70 that was a quality pitch. Mixed in a change-up this outing at 69-70 that was thrown with fastball armspeed.

Right-handed hitter started slightly open and strode to square, keeping his body still and using the middle of the field in BP. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash and 4.78 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 78-mph exit velocity and 77-mph arm strength from the outfield during workout.
6/17/15 Smallish frame (5-foot-9, 175-pounds). Pitched out of an over-the-top slot from a compact delivery. Fastball was fairly straight and sat 76-78. Also utilized an 11/5 curveball at 65-67 that was soft early, but tightened up at his two-inning stint wore on.
6/17/15 5-foot-9, 175-pound, right-handed hitter. Hit from an open stance with controlled leg kick in BP that became more of a toe-tap in game action. Body stayed fairly still during swing and he took a pretty direct path to the ball, while he would benefit from additional strength. Posted an in-game 4.84 home-to-1B time. Showcased 78-mph exit velocity and 72-mph arm strength during workout (ran FB up to 78 in game). Defensive actions weren’t always smooth, but all he did was make plays, showing some lateral movement to both sides with a quick release on DP feeds.
12/28/12 Bair used a short, compact swing to produce consistent line drives with a bat exit speed of 68 mph. The freshman showed the potential to be a quality high school hitter who should develop more power as his frame fills out.
