The uncommitted senior ran a 7.18 60-yard dash and displayed the ability to barrel the baseball frequently from a narrow, square stance during his round of batting practice. Starner utilizes a toe tap stride and registered an 81 mph bat exit velocity. The right-handed hitter displayed the potential for some gap power if he develops greater usage of his lower half in his swing mechanics.
