Note: has committed to Colgate for football
2/14/16 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from a slightly open stance and strides to square. A bit of stiffness in his swing due to physicality and slight armbar, but shows a simple, quiet approach with flat swing path through the zone. Recorded an 89-mph exit velocity, an increase of 9-mph from his appearance in this event last year. Defensively, he exhibited solid feet on approach and an ability to complete the slow roller play. Would like to see him get better extension and follow his throws (78-mph across the diamond) to prevent the ball from sailing on him.
6/17/15 Primary third baseman who is still learning the catching position. Low arm slot with quick exchange. Workout pop times of 2.10-2.16 with an in-game pop of 2.06, which can be improved by getting his front foot entirely around toward second base. Football player who takes that aggressive mentality when blocking. Rides ball a bit when receiving, which should improve with more reps. At the plate, physical 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitter starts from slightly open stance with minimal stride. Works to stay inside the ball and gets solid extension through contact. Logged an in-game 4.25 home-to-1B time.
6/17/15 Primary position player with strong, medium frame (6-foot, 190-pounds). Pitched one inning out of a three-quarter slot with short arm swing. Fastball sat 77-78. Showed good feel for curveball with 11/5 action at 64-66 and change-up with some fade at 69-70.

2/14/15 Breneman is a 6-foot, 190-pound sophomore with good feet (6.92 60-yard dash) and advanced actions at third base. The athletic corner flashed good range, the ability to play through the baseball and solid carry on easy throws of 71 mph across the diamond. The right-handed hitter has a simple approach at the plate, starting from a square stance. Breneman stayed inside the baseball and got to extension regularly while utilizing all fields with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph.
