7/22/15 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from slightly open stance with minimal stride. Swing has some length although he showed an ability to barrel the baseball in BP when he was on time. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash and a 4.78 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 86-mph exit velocity and 82-mph arm strength during workout. Tends to field the ball deep, but features solid actions and an accurate arm.

Listed as a primary position player, his performance on the mound this event may change that. Fastball that previously sat in the low-80s was 84-85 with armside sink this outing from a low three-quarter slot. Showed a feel for an 11/5 curveball at 64-65 and good sell on his change-up at 74-75.

6/24/15 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from slightly open stance with heel-raise stride. Repeatable swing with a bit of length, quiet approach, limited body/head movement. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash and average in-game 4.67 home-to-1B time. Showcased 81-mph exit velocity and 77-mph arm strength during workout (both of which he has recorded better at previous events). Solid defensive actions, gains ground well on throws.
6/24/15 6-foot, 185-pound frame. Pitched out of a low three-quarter slot. Stuff was a bit down from when we saw him the previous week (fastball sat 80-82 then). This time out, fastball sat 78-79 with occasional armside action. Breaking ball at 60-61 breaks early; at times, appears to back off it, could sharpen up if stays aggressive. Did not feature his change-up this time around, but the previous week it sat in the low-70s with some armside sink.
6/17/15 Medium build (6-foot, 185-pounds). Led with high front side and pitched out of a low three-quarter slot with fastball sitting at 80-82. Worked down in the zone and induced groundballs. Change-up at 70-72 had some sink when thrown armside. Also utilized a breaking ball at 61-62 with sweeping 10/4 action.
6/17/15 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from open stance with short stride/load and high back elbow. Kept head still and stayed on top of the ball. Showed a pull-oriented approach in BP, but used the whole field in game action. Showcased 83-mph exit velocity and 82-mph arm strength during workout (both of which are a couple ticks down from what he has shown in the past). Showed solid defensive skillset across the board, with neither a glaring deficiency nor a carrying tool.
11/1/14 Grandelli sat 80-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a high knee delivery with some effort. The junior commanded an 11/5 breaking curveball with tight 11/5 rotation and down action with some wrist cock. Grandelli's 73 mph changeup is thrown at near fastball arm speed. The 6-foot, 185-pound righty has an athletic frame and could see added velocity by working to stay more fluid while eliminating some head snap that tends to pull him off line at times. Grandelli showed well defensively, with playable actions and good hands. At the plate, he starts open and takes a quick leg kick to get himself to square. Her has a high back elbow, while his head and body come forward with his stride. He showed some length when attacking balls down in the zone, while staying on top of elevated pitches well.
9/28/14 Grandelli showcased a 78 mph bat exit velocity from an open stance with a leg lift stride starting from a high hands load. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-5 with a double during game action with a flat barrel path through the hitting zone. Grandelli displayed an accurate 79 mph arm across the diamond and topped at 81 mph during three scoreless inning of work on the mound. The 6-foot, 185-pound righty also commanded a 74 mph change up at fastball arm speed and a 60 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation.
