5/9/14 Lopez is a medium-frame right-handed hitter with solid build and some strength. Stays on top well and flashes some bat speed. Created a soft wall for blocking balls in the dirt. Arm action has a bit of a hitch, but has solid arm strength. Posted in-game pop times of 2.03 and 2.25. Sets up cockeyed with right foot staggered back (and will ride balls out of zone), but has soft glove hand when receiving, so squaring up feet should help him get behind the ball better.
