4/5/14 Buell threw two solid innings of relief (1 H, 0 BB, 2 K) for Pennsbury. While his velo was down 2 mph from what he showed at the Preseason All-State Showcase in February, he still pounded the zone with his FB at 80-81 and CB at 68-69. The latter is his money-maker, as it has tight rotation and he commands it well.

2/16/14 Buell is a 5-foot-9, 190-pound righty that flashed the top curveball of the event at 71 mph. The pitch has tight rotation and showed some tilt with 11/5 break. Buell sat 82-83 with his fastball and also displayed a feel for his 76 mph changeup that lacked much movement. Buell's fastball is deceiving because he hides the ball well and it has some late life.
11/2/13 Buell utilized a high leg kick and a strong lower half to sit 79-81 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. He showed the makings of a quality 11/5 breaking curveball with tight rotation at 69 mph. His 75 mph changeup is thrown at near fastball arm speed, but lacks any real movement. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound two-way prospect shows potential from the mound and could develop additional velocity as his frame matures. Buell showed the ability to play through the baseball and accurate throws of 74 mph across the diamond from 3B. He had a solid round of batting practice, utilizing a strong lower half from a square stance to create a bat exit velocity of 85 mph. Buell barreled the baseball consistently and showed signs of some gap power.
