Showed an ability to backdoor and backfoot his curveball with 11/5 action at 72-74. Didn’t feature his change-up at 70-71 much, but threw it with good armspeed.

Starts from square stance and takes short stride with some dive toward home plate. Some gap power potential (87-mph exit velo) and logged 85-mph arm strength in workout.

The right-handed hitter went 4-for-10 with a double during game action with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Besh is a 7.16 runner that shows athletic actions in the outfield with an 83 mph arm. The two-way prospect displayed the ability to play through the baseball and solid straight line carry to his throws.
6/18/14 Besh impressed with a fastball that sat 80-82 with arm side run from a 3/4 arm slot. The lefty displayed a fluid, repeatable delivery with command of a three pitch mix. Besh flashed a 70 mph two-plane curveball with good depth and a 75 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed with late fade. 2/16/14 Besh was a tick off the 79-80 we saw him at in the fall, sitting 75-77 this day. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound lefty displayed a forward rocker step and good balance throughout his delivery.
