6/23/14 The solidly built, 6-foot-1, 230-pound right-handed hitter showcased an 81 mph bat exit velocity and the ability to drive the baseball to both gaps during a solid round of batting practice from a slightly open stance. Gormley also showed athletic actions in the outfield with straight line carry on throws of 77 mph to home plate.
