5/6/15 Showed good actions and instincts defensively making a nice play charging in on a good bunt down the line and showing great range to track down a pop up in foul territory that he caught right in front of the dugout railing.  Right-handed hitter looked solid at the plate collecting the first hit of the game against a mid-80s fastball and reached base on a hard hit ground ball up the middle that was scored an error, but was barreled well.

9/28/14 Cody squared the baseball routinely from a square stance with a flat barrel path during batting practice. The right-handed hitter displayed a 77 mph bat exit velocity and some gap power potential. Cody showcased an accurate arm across the diamond with developing range and arm strength.

6/19/13 Cody is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound 3B/1B that ran a 7.92 60-yard dash and exhibited an accurate arm of 74 mph across the diamond. Cody has an athletic frame and will get more out of his arm as he develops the ability to play through the baseball. The right-handed hitter displayed a flat bat path through the hitting zone while incorporating little to no stride. Cody squared baseballs frequently during his round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 77 mph.
