2/14/16 5-foot-10, 170-pound switch-hitter displayed similar swing mechanics from both sides of the plate with greater pop and rhythm from the left side of the plate. In both cases Beimel starts from a square stance with a high hands load and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. He flashed an 86 mph bat exit velocity and a feel for the barrel from both sides. The junior ran a 7.74 60-yard dash and displayed 2.10-2.18 pop times with 71 mph arm strength out of the crouch. Beimel has an athletic set up, receives with a soft, quiet glove hand and presents a soft wall when blocking.

11/7/15 5-foot-10, 170-pound switch-hitter. Similar approach from both sides of the plate. Starts from a slightly open stance, rocks weight to back side, controlling the forward action, staying behind his front side, and flashing some bat speed (83-mph exit velocity). Defensively, he showed a strong glove hand and solid blocking skills, along with 73-mph arm strength and pop times of 2.19-2.31.
2/15/15 Beimel impressed with solid rounds of batting practice from both sides of the plate. The 5-foot-9, 155-pound sophomore starts from a slightly open stance with a high hands load and a toe tap stride on the right side of the plate. Beimel's hands work well through the baseball creating solid barrel whip with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. From the left side of the plate Beimel showcased a similar swing with greater length and the potential for a bit more power. Beimel ran a 7.66 60-yard dash and flashed pop times of 2.19-2.25 on throws of 73 mph. Beimel will be a catcher to watch in this class as he continues to add to his athletic frame.

6/25/14 Beimel is a 5-foot-8, 140-pound right-handed hitter that displayed good rhythm to his swing from a square stance with a high hands load. He barreled the baseball routinely during batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 72 mph. Beimel showcased the ability to be on time to the baseball and the ability to use all fields in going 3-for-7 during game play. The sophomore flashed pop times of 2.27-2.35 on throws of 65 mph from the crouch while displaying solid receiving and blocking skills.
12/27/12 Beimel showed well offensively and behind the plate. The switch-hitting 8th grader displayed a 57 mph bat exit speed with the ability to consistently square the baseball from both sides of the plate. Defensively, he showed solid receiving and blocking skills with pop times of 2.60-2.65 on throws of 57 mph out of the crouch.
