2/14/15 Amey is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter that starts from a square stance. The sophomore utilizes a lift-and-replace stride and a strong lower half to create barrel whip and a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Amey flashed quick hands and good balance throughout his swing while squaring the baseball routinely. A 7.59 60-yard dash and 74 mph arm strength are items that Amey will need to continue to improve as he progresses towards the next level.

9/28/14 Amey went 1-for-3 in game action during Game One. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound sophomore only participated in game play, but has displayed a 78 mph arm from the outfield and a short swing path with a 79 mph bat exit velocity at previous events. Amey is athletic and has a frame that projects for additional size and strength moving forward.

He barreled the baseball routinely with no stride during batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Amey ran a 7.48 60-yard dash and showed athletic actions in the outfield with a 77 mph arm.

Amey made consistent hard contact during his round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. The freshman registered a 4.35 home-to-1B time and showed athletic actions in the outfield with accurate throws of 78 mph to home plate.

The right-handed hitter utilized a square stance and a high hands load to produce a bat exit velocity of 70 mph. He barreled the baseball consistently and displayed the ability to use all fields. Amey has an athletic frame and should continue to get stronger as his frame fills out.
