7/20/16 5-foot-10, 185-pounder who can really spin it. Compact delivery that he repeats includes an up-tempo wind-up with slight back should dip over rubber. Fastball sat 83-86, while his equalizer is a tight, 11/5 curveball with depth at 73-75 for which he demonstrates a very good feel. Likely a reliever profile due stuff dropping off by third inning of work and a build that doesn't project as a workhorse, but breaking ball gives him a chance to get high-leverage outs in that role.
2/14/16 5-foot-9, 185-pounder sat 82-84 from an over the top arm slot with a compact delivery. 11/5 curveball shows frequent hard-biting down action and Picariello displayed a solid feel for his 78 mph changeup.
Solid frame and athletic actions across-the-board make Picariello a definite two-way prospect in this class. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg lift stride to initiate his swing. A flat barrel path and strong lower half leads to regular hard contact and a bat exit velocity of 91 mph. Picariello completed his day by running a 6.95 60-yard dash and flashed 90 mph arm strength from the outfield.

9/13/15 Solidly built 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame. Bounced hands from waist to overhead to chest for separation and into an over-the-top slot with some armspeed. Fastball at 82-83 was typically straight with occasional armside run. Curveball with 11/5 action at 73-75 has a chance to get swings-and-misses at the next level, while he also mixed in a firm change-up at 75-76.
9/13/15 5-foot-9, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from an open stance and strides to slightly open. Showed an ability to use the middle of the field and drive the ball to the opposite field gap when he is on time. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash and 4.72 in-game home-to-1B time on a turn, while posting an 82-mph exit velocity. Defensively, he showcased 88-mph arm strength and also flashed ability at his primary position of RHP (full pitching report coming tomorrow).
6/24/15 5-foot-9, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Strength in frame with some gap power potential. Started from slightly open stance with slow draw of weight to backside and strode to square. Body comes forward with stride and swing path has some length at times. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash and 4.81 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 84-mph exit velocity and 85-mph arm strength during workout. Solid arm strength and accuracy from three-quarter slot.
6/24/15 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame. Pitched out of an over-the-top slot with high leg kick, back shoulder dip, and some effort in delivery. Fastball sat 81-83 and was complemented by a solid curveball at 73-75 with 12/6 action and some depth. More of a thrower than a pitcher right now, but the present velocity and ability to spin a breaking ball provides some intrigue.
