The right-handed hitter displayed a strong lower half out of a slightly open stance. Goryl uses very little stride, but creates an 82 mph bat exit velocity with a strong hip turn. He barreled the baseball consistently and showcased some gap power potential.
11/2/13 Goryl has added considerable size and strength to his frame in the past year. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitter showed a compact swing and a strong lower half that allowed him to consistently square the baseball. He stays inside the baseball well and makes consistent hard contact. Goryl displayed improving arm strength on throws of 74 mph across the diamond.
