6/15/16
6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way prospect continues to impress with a solid skill set. Right-handed hitter flashed top bat exit velocity at the event (96 mph) from a square stance. Utilizes a short leg-lift stride to initiate his swing going 4-for-6 in game action over two days. Displayed pop times of 2.04-2.12 with 78 mph arm strength out of the crouch. Although he didn't run the 60-yard dash at this event has run a 7.45 previously.
Right-hander has shown mid-80s velocity in past events. Sat 81-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot at this event over two innings of work with some arm-side run to his fastball. Showed two quality secondary pitches in a 71 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a changeup thrown at fastball arm speed (75 mph).
2/14/16 6-foot-2, 190-pound two-way prospect is a primary catcher. Right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Physical athlete displayed advanced barrel whip (96 mph bat  exit velocity) with a feel for the barrel. Flashed pop times of 2.09-2.13 with 76 mph arm strength out of the crouch. Moves well for his size (7.45 60-yard dash). Narrow, tall set-up defensively with developing receiving skills. Potential to be solid run producer and defender at next level.
Good tempo in wind-up that features a long, clean arm action with hook into a three-quarter slot. FB sat 84-85 with baby tail and some life to it. Has the makings of two quality secondary pitches. Tight CB varied in shape some, but was at its best with 11/5 action at 74-75. CH was fairly firm at 75-77, but showed diving action when down in the zone.
11/7/15 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitter who ran a 7.38 60-yard dash and posted a 92-mph exit velocity. Hits from a slightly open stance and stays through contact. Swing has some length with bat speed, while he would benefit from letting the ball travel into the zone a bit further, in order to take full advantage of his strong lower half. Defensively, he recorded 76-mph arm strength from the crouch and pop times of 2.10-2.24, the time and accuracy of which should improve when he learns to get his front foot all the way around toward second base.
